Bano Qudsia born in in India at Ferozpur is a
great urdu novelist. She left India to Lahore after the creation of Pakistan in
1947. She Passed her B A from Kinnaird College Lahore. She completed her M.A.
degree in Urdu from the Government College Lahore on 1951. She is very famous
and popular novelist .She wrote several Novels for television Drama and radio
plays. She wrote many famous novels Raja Gith, Hasil Ghaat, Parwa, Phir
Achanak youn hwa, kuch aur Nahi, aik din, Saman e wajood, lagan Apni apni, baaz
e Gasht and Shehir e be misaal etc .
She
married with well-known novelist Ashfaq Ahmed. She got award of Sitara-e-Imtiaz
and the Hilal-e-Imtiaz by Government of Pakistan.
